About me
My name is Agnese Medne, and I am the founder of the tall clothing brand Ozolvīle. I am a nature-loving soul from the heart of Kurzeme, deeply inspired by open fields, forests, and the changing seasons of Latvia. Although I have lived in Riga for many years, nature remains my greatest source of creative energy and inner balance—and it is reflected in the clothing I create.
I am proud of my 176 cm tall, slim figure, but finding clothing that truly fits has never been easy. Too often, clothes are either slim but too short, or long but too wide. This long-standing frustration became the starting point for creating garments designed specifically for tall body proportions.
Creating with my own hands has been my passion since childhood—from dressing dolls to designing and altering clothing for myself and others. My studies in material technology and fashion design turned this passion into professional skill. The ability to imagine, construct, and wear a finished garment is what I consider my personal superpower.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, as lifestyles and clothing habits shifted toward comfort, versatility, and sustainability, Ozolvīle was born. It is a tall clothing brand that brings together functionality, thoughtful design, craftsmanship, creativity, and a genuine love for fashion.
